Joseph James Rogan is an American comedian, actor, sports commentator, TV host and podcast host born on August 11 1967 who has an estimated net worth of $23 million. In his early teens, Rogan started practicing martial arts, including karate and taekwondo. By 19 years old, he was winning state championships, as well as on US Open Championship. He retired from competing at 21, due to headaches and fear of additional injuries. At his gym and martial arts school as a teen, he became known for his sense of humor. His friends encouraged him to pursue it as well. When he was 21, he started performing standup comedy.
His career grew and he moved to Los Angeles in 1994 and signed with the Disney network. That same year he landed his first major acting role in the 9-episode sitcom Hardball. From 1995-1999, he starred in the TV sitcom NewsRadio. In 1997, he also started working as an interviewer for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In 2002, Rogan became a color commentator for the UFC and has ever since. In the 2000s, he was also well known for his reality competition show Fear Factor, which ran from 2001-2006, with a final season running in 2011. Most recently he’s known for hosting his own podcast called The Joe Rogan Experience, which is currently one of the most popular podcasts globally.
