Naomi Watts, proud rescue dog mom and acclaimed actress, showed up at the New York City premiere of her new flick, The Friend, looking suspiciously coordinated with her co-star. And no, we’re not talking about Bill Murray – We’re talking about Bing the Great Dane.
Yes, you heard that right. Watts graced the event in a white dress adorned with black furry spots, which, wouldn’t you know it, perfectly mirrored Bing’s own majestic coat. But as Bing obviously planned to wear his outfit to the premiere (and everywhere), It’s pretty clear Watts bit Bing’s style, which Bing wasn’t too pleased with….
In The Friend, Watts plays a novelist who inherits her deceased friend’s Great Dane. So this was a big role for this big dawg – And it was his very first acting role!
Watts couldn’t stop gushing about Bing, calling his performance “unbelievable” and praising his “soulful” nature. Bing, who hails from Iowa, isn’t just a pretty (big) face; he’s got talent. Watts revealed that Bing has a hidden skill: he can sing! Apparently, he gave special send-offs to actors who wrapped on set.
Last September, while on the film festival circuit, Bing met up with Pilaf, Demi Moore’s famous fur baby.
