Pop star Kesha posted on Instagram that her “little chicken” Carl, one of her four adopted cats, has passed away.
Kesha’s caption continued, “You really broke my heart this time. I’ll see you in the next life my baby boy. God really outdid himself with this creature.” In less than a day, her post has received over 200k likes and countless comments. Some celebrity condolences include Demi Lovato saying, “I’m so sorry,” and Hannah Berner leaving a string of heart emojis.
Through a lengthy carousel, Kesha shared photos and videos of her Persian kitty Carl’s life. From snuggling to professional photos, playing inside and out, and even playing with an Ouija board. It also included Carl hanging out with two of her other rescue cats: Mr. Peeps, a Siamese, and Charlie, a Maine Coon.
Kesha also has a ginger and white Maine Coon fittingly named Queso.
