Celebrity pet parents Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are proud to reveal their latest fur family member: A rescued English Bulldog named Dudley. Dudley’s story is a testament to resilience, as he was rescued after the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. When he was found, Dudley was in critical condition, bravely battling severe pneumonia. But his stubborn bulldog spirit carried him through!

Thankfully, the wonderful people at Wags & Walks rescue stepped in to care for him. It was there, just after the devastating Los Angeles wildfires had subsided in mid-January, that Chrissy and John found Dudley and became determined to give him his forever home. They shared a touching video on their pet supplies company’s Instagram, @Kismet, showing Dudley’s incredible transformation from a dog fighting for his life to a happy, cherished member of their family.
This heartwarming adoption comes at a time when Chrissy and John are still grieving the loss of their beloved three-legged French bulldog, Penny. Welcoming Dudley into their lives seems to have brought them a sense of comfort and joy during a difficult period. Teigen also used the lovely moment to promote pet adoption and thank Wags 7 Walks for all the amazing work they do.
