Tilly goes by many names: Tilly Bean, The Friendly Loaf, Frog, Rotisserie Chicken, and Baby Taz – Just to name a few. But one thing here fans can all agree on is this Tibetan Spaniel mix is a sassy queen in a small package. And that she’s truly an inspiration, living almost 6 happy and healthly years with a condition known as Short-Spine Syndrome.
Tilly was a backyard breeder’s puppy, who had no idea what was wrong with her and planned to euthanize her. But luckily a kind human named Anna pleaded with them that she’d adopt Tilly. It’s generally expected that dogs with this condition don’t live that long… But since being adopted in 2019, Tilly has been going strong!
Her owner Anna says she thankfully has no other health issues or symptoms. She’s just a bit clumsy and can’t jump up or off things, scratch herself properly, or turn her head (which just adds to her adorable charm).
