Wayne Rooney is an English former professional footballer and current manager known for his career as a forward with Manchester United and the England national team. He is the record goalscorer for both Manchester United and the England national team.
Rooney began his professional career with Everton in 2002. He joined Manchester United in 2004, where he won five Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, three League Cups, and one FA Cup. Rooney scored 253 goals for Manchester United. He also scored 53 goals for the England national team. After leaving Manchester United, Rooney played for D.C.
