Trent Reznor had a Golden Retriever named Maise that often joined him in the studio. The band happily welcomed dogs while they worked and they reportedly had three or four dogs around at all times.

Trent Reznor was named one of the most influential people in 1997. Rolling Stones listed the band as one of the 100 greatest artists of all time. Spin magazine described him as “the most vital artist in music”.
