Tony Stewart is an American former professional stock car racing driver and current NASCAR team owner, known for his three NASCAR Cup Series championships and versatility in various motorsport disciplines.
Tony Stewart’s career in NASCAR and motorsports includes multiple significant achievements. He won his first NASCAR Cup Series championship in 2002 with Joe Gibbs Racing, followed by championships in 2005 and 2011. In 2011, Stewart became the first driver/owner to win a Cup Series championship since Alan Kulwicki in 1992, driving for Stewart-Haas Racing. Stewart also competed and won in the IndyCar Series, securing the 1997 IndyCar season championship.
