Pusha T
Terrence LeVarr Thornton aka Pusha T hails from The Bronx, New York although he was raised in Virginia. Known by his stage name Pusha-T, he’s an American rapper and record executive. Pusha T and his brother Gene “No Malice” Thornton began as the hip-hop duo Clipse and founded Re-Up Records together. He was discovered by Pharrell Williams who signed the duo to Elektra Records in 1997. In September 2010, Pusha T was signed to Kanye West‘s GOOD Music imprint. In 2011, he released his first solo project, Fear of God and released his debut solo album My Name Is My Name in 2013.
Pusha T released Daytona in May 2018 using a photo of Whitney Houston’s drug-strewn bathroom countertop as the cover art. Kanye West allegedly paid $85,000 for the photo.
