Tenzing Norgay Trainor
Tenzing Norgay Trainor is an American actor known for his role as Parker Rooney on the Disney Channel television show “Liv and Maddie” (2013–2017) and for voicing Jin in the animated adventure film “Abominable” (2019) and its follow-up “Abominable and the Invisible City” (2022–2023). He has also appeared in TV shows including “Good Luck Charlie,” “The Jadagrace Show,” and “Stevie TV.”
Trainor’s career began in Florida, where he started acting at the age of eight at the Paladin Playhouse Theater in Fort Lauderdale. His breakthrough role came in 2013 on “Liv and Maddie,” playing the recurring character Parker Rooney. In 2014, he made a guest appearance in the “Jessie” crossover episode “Jessie’s Aloha Holidays with Parker and Joey.” After “Liv and Maddie” ended in 2017, Trainor appeared in the Nickelodeon series “Knight Squad” in 2018 and starred in the short comedy film “Clueless,” for which he won an Independent Shorts Award as Best Child/Young Actor. In 2019, he voiced Jin in “Abominable” and reprised his role in the animated series “Abominable and the Invisible City.” In 2022, he appeared as Gavin in the Netflix series “Boo, Bitch” and starred in the 2023 series “Freeridge.”
