Pat Smear
Georg Albert Ruthenberg, known by his stage name as Pat Smear, is an American musician who is best known as the co-founder of punk band The Germs and for being a rhythm guitarist for Nirvana and Foo Fighters. After Nirvana disbanded, he rejoined Foo Fighters in 2005 and has been a full-time member since 2010. With Foo Fighters, he has recorded six studio albums and has toured extensively with them. He has also been involved in various other projects over the years such as playing guitar for Queens of the Stone Age and releasing his own solo album “Ruthensmear” in 2014.
