Michael Clifford is an Australian musician, best known for his role as the lead guitarist in the pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS).
Since 5 Seconds of Summer’s inception in 2011, Clifford’s guitar prowess has become a defining factor of the band’s sound. The band’s debut single, “She Looks So Perfect,” quickly gained international attention, and their self-titled debut album hit number one in 11 countries. In subsequent years, the band released a series of successful albums including “Sounds Good Feels Good” and “Youngblood.”
Collaborations with other musicians have been a notable part of Clifford’s career. Some examples include working with John Feldmann, producer and lead vocalist of Goldfinger, who helped shape 5SOS’s sound.
