Manu Ginóbili
Manu Ginóbili is a retired Argentine professional basketball player who played 16 seasons with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA. He won four NBA championships with the team and was named an NBA All-Star twice. He received the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2008 and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022. He also won a gold medal with the Argentina national team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
He played alongside Tim Duncan during all four of the Spurs’ championship runs in 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2014. He formed a long-standing backcourt pairing with Tony Parker, contributing to the team’s offensive and transition play. In international competition, he played with Andrés Nocioni during Argentina’s Olympic campaigns. He collaborated with Fabricio Oberto on both the Spurs and Argentina’s national team. During the 2013–2014 NBA season, he was part of a rotation that included Kawhi Leonard, contributing to the team’s finals victory. He also played with Bruce Bowen during the early 2000s championship seasons, combining on perimeter defense strategies.
