Lucas Silveira
Lucas Silveira is a Brazilian-Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the rock band The Cliks.
Silveira’s career with The Cliks began in 2006 when the band signed with Warner Music Group’s Tommy Boy Records. Their debut album, “Snakehouse,” was released in 2007 and featured the singles “Oh Yeah” and “Complicated.” The Cliks released two more albums, “Dirty King” in 2009 and “Black Tie Elevator” in 2013. Silveira also pursued solo projects, including his acoustic album “Mockingbird,” featuring covers of popular songs.
Throughout his career, Silveira has collaborated with various influential artists. He joined Cyndi Lauper on her True Colors Tour in 2007. Tegan Quin of Tegan and Sara co-wrote the song “Dirty King.” Margaret Cho featured Silveira in her music video for “I Want You.” Ian D’Sa from Billy Talent produced tracks for The Cliks. Silveira has shared the stage with artists such as Debbie Harry and Joan Jett. He worked with producer Sylvia Massy on the album “Snakehouse.”
