Lea Salonga is a Filipina singer and actress, internationally acclaimed for her powerful voice and perfect pitch. She is best known for her roles in musical theatre, particularly as Kim in “Miss Saigon,” for which she won a Tony Award, and for providing the singing voices of Disney princesses Jasmine and Mulan. Salonga’s career spans over four decades, with significant contributions to theater, music, and film.

Salonga’s achievements in musical theatre are highlighted by her groundbreaking role in “Miss Saigon,” which earned her the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 1991. She also starred in the Broadway productions of “Les Misérables” and “Flower Drum Song,” showcasing her versatility as a performer.
