Larry Fink
Larry Fink is an American financial executive serving as the chairman and CEO of BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager. Under his leadership, BlackRock has grown into a global financial institution with over $9 trillion in assets under management, pioneering strategies in investment, risk management, and sustainability. Fink has been influential in steering the financial sector towards recognizing and incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into investment decisions.
Fink started his career in finance at First Boston, where he developed the mortgage-backed securities market in the United States, before co-founding BlackRock in 1988. Under his stewardship, BlackRock has expanded its offerings across fixed income, equity, real estate, and alternative investment strategies, becoming a key player in both the private and public sectors globally.
