Jim Rash is an American actor, comedian, and screenwriter known for his role as Dean Craig Pelton on the television series Community. He is also recognized for co-writing the screenplay for The Descendants, which won an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2012.
Rash’s career includes his portrayal of the dean on Community, a role he played throughout the show’s six seasons. He co-wrote and directed the film The Way, Way Back, which received critical acclaim.
