Janet McTeer
Janet McTeer is an English actress recognized for her performances in film and theatre. She won a Tony Award for her role in A Doll’s House (1997) and a Golden Globe for her performance in Tumbleweeds (1999). She has been nominated for two Academy Awards for Tumbleweeds and Albert Nobbs (2011).
McTeer’s film career includes Tumbleweeds, where she played a single mother, and Albert Nobbs, where she portrayed a woman living as a man. She appeared in The Exception (2016) and Me Before You (2016). Her television roles include playing Helen Pierce in Ozark and a key role in The Honourable Woman.
