Denzel and Deigo (Dog)
James Maddison has two dogs: A Cane Corso named Denzel and a French Bulldog named Deigo. It was speculated that Maddison named Deigo after legendary footballer Diego Maradona. When asked if that was true, he said Deigo is actually named after the tiger from the animated film Ice Age, which was one of his favourite films growing up.

James Maddison is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Leicester City. James started playing for Coventry City before joining Norwich City in 2016. In the 2016-17 season, he played for the Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen on loan. Upon his return to Norwich, James was named in the Championship PFA Team of the Year and EFL Team of the Season. In 2018, James joined the Premier League club Leicester City.
