A product of the Chelsea academy, Blackman has represented England up to the under-19 level, achieving early recognition by winning the Victory Shield with the under-16 team in 2009. His progression through Chelsea’s ranks culminated in a professional contract following the team’s FA Youth Cup victory in 2012.
