Jack Lowden
Jack Lowden is a Scottish actor known for his roles in film and television. He gained recognition for his performance as Nikolai Rostov in War & Peace (2016) and as Collins in Dunkirk (2017). He has also performed in notable stage productions, earning an Olivier Award for his role in Ghosts (2013).
Lowden played a Royal Air Force pilot in Dunkirk and wrestler Zak Knight in Fighting with My Family (2019). He appeared as Siegfried Sassoon in Benediction (2021) and portrayed Lord Darnley in Mary Queen of Scots (2018). His theatre career includes performances in Chariots of Fire (2012) and Ghosts, which won him an Olivier Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Throughout his career, Lowden has collaborated with Florence Pugh in Fighting with My Family and Saoirse Ronan in Mary Queen of Scots. He worked with Kenneth Branagh in Dunkirk and Peter Capaldi in Benediction. He appeared alongside George MacKay in 1917 and performed with Lesley Manville in Ghosts.
