Jack Gleeson
Jack Gleeson is a former Irish actor born. No longer an actor, he is best known for his starring role in HBO’s Game of Thrones from 2011 to 2014. Playing King Joffrey Baratheon, he was the son of Lena Headey’s character Cersei Lannister and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s character Jaime Lannister. He started acting at seven years old with a theater workshop, along with his two sisters. In 2002, he got his first film role Reign of Fire, followed up with Batman Begins in 2005. Since finishing his portrayal of King Joffrey, he publicly announced he was retiring from acting to further pursue his education.
