Dianne Wiest
Dianne Wiest is an American actress known for her performances in film and television. She won two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in Hannah and Her Sisters (1986) and Bullets Over Broadway (1994).
Her film career includes roles in Parenthood (1989), Edward Scissorhands (1990), and The Birdcage (1996). In television, Wiest starred in In Treatment and appeared in Law & Order. She has also performed on Broadway, notably in The Cherry Orchard.
Wiest worked with Steve Martin in Parenthood and Robin Williams in The Birdcage. In Bullets Over Broadway, she collaborated with John Cusack. She appeared with Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands and with Michael Caine in Hannah and Her Sisters. Wiest also worked alongside Albert Brooks in The Scout and with Woody Allen in September.
