Diane Lane is an American actress who has appeared in a variety of films, ranging from romantic comedies to thrillers. After making her screen debut at age 14, she went on to star in a number of popular and critically acclaimed films, eventually earning nominations for several Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition to her acting career, Lane is also an advocate for animal rights and the environment.
