Daniela Ruah
Daniela Ruah is a Portuguese-American actress known for her role as Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, which she portrayed from 2009 to 2023. Her television work includes appearances in Portuguese series such as Jardins Proibidos and Filha do Mar. In film, she starred in Red Tails (2012) and appeared in Brave New World (2011).
Ruah played Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, acting alongside LL Cool J for the show’s entire run. She worked closely with Chris O’Donnell in numerous storylines as part of the investigative team. In Red Tails, she shared scenes with David Oyelowo in the World War II drama. In Jardins Proibidos, she acted opposite Vera Kolodzig in the Portuguese soap opera. She appeared with Clive Standen in the television pilot Brave New World. She also collaborated with Eric Christian Olsen on NCIS: Los Angeles, where their characters’ relationship became a central element of the series. Her additional Portuguese television credits include Dei-te Quase Tudo, where she acted alongside Diogo Infante.
