Alexander Ovechkin's Pets

Alexander Ovechkin is a Russian professional ice hockey player who has achieved legendary status in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was born in Moscow, Russia, and began playing hockey at a young age, eventually rising to become one of the most accomplished players in the history of the sport.

Ovechkin’s accomplishments on the ice are numerous. He has won numerous awards and accolades, including the prestigious Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player on three occasions. He has also been named to the NHL’s First All-Star Team eight times and has won the Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the league’s top goal scorer on ten occasions, tying an NHL record.

Ovechkin is an owner and investor in the National Women’s Soccer League. He joined the Spirit ownership group that includes Chelsea Clinton, Jenna Bush Hager, Briana Scurry and Dominique Dawes.

Off the ice, Ovechkin is also an advocate for animal welfare. He and his wife, Nastya Ovechkina, are the founders of the Ovechkin’s Crazy8s Foundation, which supports a variety of causes, including animal rescue and rehabilitation. The foundation has worked with organizations such as Homeward Trails Animal Rescue and the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria to promote animal adoption and raise awareness of animal welfare issues.
