Rescued

In The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s reoccurring segment “Rescue Dog Rescue,” Colbert teams up with a celebrity guest to bring out adoptable dogs from the North Shore Animal League to promote and exaggerate (and hilariously lie) to get them adopted. The resulted in a near perfect record with 185 out of 186 dogs so far. The last and only repeat rescue dog was Norbert, with Colbert posting a full video in February 2025 dedicated to the poor pup in the hopes to finally find him a home.
