You’ve probably seen pictures of famous dogs on social media with millions of followers, and now some of them are getting movie deals and even book deals. The death toll in California continues to rise as wildfires destroy the state. One family was devastated when they had to leave their beloved two-time cancer survivor dog, Izzy, behind as they fled their Sonoma home. Izzy panicked when her parents, Clint and Kathy Weaver, woke up in the middle of the night surrounded by flames.

Hero kayaker saves bag of puppies from drowning
A heroic kayaker rescued a bag of puppies from a river in Uxbridge, Massachusetts earlier this week. Luckily, he was in the right place at the right time for the newborn puppies who were in a tied grain sack, about to drown. The discovery was made near River Road, Uxbridge police are asking the public for help in catching whoever did this, stating “if you have any information that could lead us to the low life that could commit such a heinous act, contact Officer Benjamin Smoot at Uxbridge PD.”
