It’s not uncommon for cats to steal presents for their loving parents. If you have a kitty of your own, you might notice the occasional Q-Tip, button, or dead mouse on your pillow, but what would you do about neighbor’s underwear.
Brigit, a real life Tonkinese cat burglar, regularly steals the neighbor’s underwear and socks for her parents. The collection is quite impressive. The owner, Sarah Nathan, posted a photo on her Facebook, “Now it’s getting silly. Every morning we wake up to more. I’ve put notes in every letterbox in the street. Please share if you know someone who lives in the George St. area.”
Apparently the kitty prefers men’s socks and boxer briefs. The New Zealand Herald reports that Brigit has collected 11 pairs of underpants and over 50 socks in the last two months.
