Jenna Lyons, star of Real Housewives of New York and former president of iconic American apparel brand J. Crew, has expanded her fur family with two kittens.
Named Rimba and Roo, they’re part of the Oriental Shorthair breed with both sporting classic tabby pattern coats. Lyons followed up with a Vogue-worthy photo of the pair, who we’re guessing are siblings. The last photo, unfortunately, shows that one of them broke a paw, so let’s hope it heals up soon!
Jenna’s partner, Cass Bird, also shared a shot of one of the kitties with one of Jenna’s kids.
For those wondering about this breed, the Oriental Shorthair is a breed of domestic cat that is closely related to the Siamese. Known for its sleek, slender body, and large ears, this breed has a short, fine coat that comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns. They’re highly social, intelligent, and vocal cats, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Their playful and curious nature makes them engaging pets, but they do require attention and dislike being left alone for long periods. You may also recognize the breed from going viral a few years ago for looking like Adam Driver.
Rimba and Roo join her cat, Charlie. The ginger kitty was a stray that Jenna found outside a deli and decided to bring home. Nice to see he’s helping out with the kitten-care duties.
Jenna also has a rescued Chihuahua-Prague Terrier mix named Popeye, who’s known to enjoy a good cup of coffee (apparently).
