Michael Lamar White II, known by his rapper name Trippie Redd, is an American rapper and hip hop artist. He gained popularity through SoundCloud and grew a following through the online community. He gained mainstream popularity in the late 2010s after his mixtape, A Love Letter to You (2017), was picked up by popular media. His singles “Dark Knight Dummo”, “Taking a Walk”, and “Topanga” all reached the Billboard Hot 100. Both his third and fourth albums, Pegasus (2020) and Trip at Knight (2021) both reached number two on the Billboard 200.
