At Leipzig, he netted 78 goals in 127 appearances, making him one of the club’s most prolific goal scorers before making the much-publicized move to Chelsea in 2020.
Timo Werner has thrived in environments where he collaborates with other skilled footballers. In the international arena, Werner has teamed up with Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané, Toni Kroos, and Serge Gnabry on the Germany national team.
Over his career, Werner has amassed various individual and team achievements, helping him cement his status as one of the modern era’s prominent forwards. In the 2016-17 season, he was named the Bundesliga’s top German scorer. At RB Leipzig, he was part of the squad that reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in the 2019-20 season. On the international stage, his exploits have led Germany to victory in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup, where he also bagged the Golden Boot.
