Shemar Moore is an American actor and former fashion model, best known for his role as Malcolm Winters on the long-running soap opera “The Young and the Restless” and as Derek Morgan on the hit crime drama “Criminal Minds.” He began his acting career in the mid-1990s, and quickly gained recognition for his talent and good looks. He is also known for his role as the lead in the TV series “S.W.A.T” and “Baby Boy” a coming of age film where he played the lead role Jody. He has also appeared in several films, including “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” and “The Brothers.”

One of Shemar Moore’s first notable collaborations began in 2002 with his engagement in ‘Birds of Prey’, starring alongside Ashley Scott and Rachel Skarsten, creating a remarkable portrayal of a comic-based detective story.
