Philip Selway
Philip Selway is an English musician and songwriter, best known as the drummer of the rock band Radiohead. He has been a member of the band since its formation in 1985, contributing to albums that have won numerous awards and critical acclaim, including multiple Grammy Awards.
Selway’s career with Radiohead includes albums such as “OK Computer,” “Kid A,” and “In Rainbows.” In addition to his drumming, he has contributed to the band’s songwriting and vocals. Selway has released solo albums, including “Familial” (2010), “Weatherhouse” (2014), and “Let Me Go” (2017). He composed the score for the film “Let Me Go.”
Philip Selway’s collaborations extend beyond Radiohead. He worked with Neil Finn on the 7 Worlds Collide project, contributing to both studio recordings and live performances. He collaborated with singer-songwriter Lisa Germano on her album “No Elephants.” Selway worked with the collective UNKLE, contributing to their album “War Stories.” His collaboration with Philip Glass resulted in a reinterpretation of the song “Piano for the Head.” He participated in the album “The Sun Came Out” with artists including Wilco and Johnny Marr. Selway collaborated with musician Ronan Munro on several artistic projects. He worked with Patrick Wolf on the album “Lupercalia.” He contributed to the soundtrack of the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” with the band The Weird Sisters
