Mohanlal, known as the complete actor in Indian cinema, has been an influential figure in the film industry for more than four decades. With over 350 films under his belt, Mohanlal has proved his versatility as an actor in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi movies.

Mohanlal’s breakout role came in the 1986 film “Rajavinte Makan,” in which he played a young man seeking revenge for his father’s murder. The film was a massive success and made Mohanlal an overnight sensation. Since then, he has starred in numerous critically acclaimed films such as “Pavithram,” “Vanaprastham,” “Kireedam,” and “Bharatham.”

One of the most significant milestones in Mohanlal’s career was his portrayal of the lead character in the 1991 film “Bharatham.” The film tells the story of a classical musician who falls into alcoholism and his journey towards redemption. Mohanlal’s performance in the film earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor and the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor.
