Miranda Cosgrove
Miranda Cosgrove is an American actress and singer. She was the highest-paid child actor in 2012 and was included on Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30” list in 2022. She’s best known for her roles in the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh and iCarly. Born in Los Angeles, California on May 14th, 1993, Miranda was discovered at the age of three by a talent agent who noticed her singing and dancing at the Los Angeles restaurant Taste of L.A. Miranda quickly began appearing in commercials and soon landed a role on the television series Smallville. After that, she played the role of Summer Hathaway in the 2003 film School of Rock and starred in the 2004 film Yours, Mine & Ours. In 2007, she was cast as the lead in the Nickelodeon series iCarly, which ran until 2012. She also starred in the show’s spin-off, Sam & Cat, in 2013.
In addition to acting, Miranda has pursued a music career, releasing two albums; Sparks Fly in 2010, and High Maintenance in 2011. She has also appeared in several music videos and performed at numerous live events. Miranda has since gone on to appear in several films and television shows, including The Wild Stallion, Despicable Me 2, Crowded, and The Intruders. She has also made appearances on the shows The Big Bang Theory and Mom. Recently, she starred in the Netflix original movie, Horse Girl.
