Jake Oettinger is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 26th overall in the first round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by Dallas. Oettinger played college hockey for Boston University before turning pro. He has also represented the United States in international tournaments. He is known for his quick reflexes, strong positioning, and his ability to control the rebounds. He has been considered one of the rising stars in the NHL and a key player for the Dallas Stars.
