Flavio Briatore is an Italian businessman and former team principal of two Formula One teams. He was the managing director of the Benetton Formula team from 1990 to 1997, and then the team principal of Renault F1 from 2000 to 2009, where his teams won the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship with Michael Schumacher in 1994 and 1995, and with Fernando Alonso in 2005 and 2006.
