Erykah Badu is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is often referred to as the “Queen of Neo Soul” and is considered one of the most influential female R&B singers of all time. Badu’s music incorporates elements of soul, hip-hop, and jazz, and her lyrics are often thought-provoking and socially conscious. She is known for her unique fashion sense and ability to mix different styles and textures. Badu has released five studio albums, all of which have been certified gold or higher. She has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for her hit single “On & On” and Best Urban/Alternative Performance for the single “Honey”. Badu has also collaborated with numerous other artists, including Common, The Roots, Andre 3000, and Questlove.
