Conor Garland
Conor Garland is an American professional ice hockey right winger for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Initially drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the fifth round, 123rd overall, in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Garland has developed into a notable player recognized for his offensive skills and work ethic on the ice. His career is highlighted by significant contributions to the teams he has played for, both in the NHL and during his time in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Tucson Roadrunners.
Garland’s journey to the NHL was marked by exceptional performances in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Moncton Wildcats, where he led the league in scoring for two consecutive seasons before turning professional. In the AHL, his skill set quickly translated into success, earning him an NHL call-up with the Coyotes, where he debuted in the 2018–2019 season. Since then, Garland has consistently demonstrated his value as a forward, showcasing an ability to contribute both goals and assists, which eventually led to his acquisition by the Vancouver Canucks in a trade during the 2021 offseason.
