Anthony Green
Anthony Green is an American musician and singer-songwriter known as the lead vocalist for Circa Survive and Saosin. Green began his career as the original lead vocalist for Saosin, recording the Translating the Name EP before departing to form Circa Survive. With Circa Survive, he released Juturna (2005), On Letting Go (2007), and Blue Sky Noise (2010), which gained both critical acclaim and commercial success. He also launched his solo career with the album Avalon (2008) and followed it with others like Beautiful Things (2012), Young Legs (2013), and Pixie Queen (2016). Green participated in The Sound of Animals Fighting, an experimental music project, releasing albums such as Tiger and the Duke (2005).
Throughout his career, Anthony Green has collaborated with numerous musicians. In Circa Survive, he worked closely with Colin Frangicetto and Nick Beard. With The Sound of Animals Fighting, he collaborated with Rich Balling. Green recorded guest vocals with Craig Owens on Chiodos tracks. He worked with the members of Good Old War, Keith Goodwin and Tim Arnold, who also supported his solo projects. Green collaborated with Nate Ruess on a track for Avalon. He performed live with Matt Embree during his solo tours and worked with RX Bandits’ members in studio sessions.
