Aisling Franciosi
Aisling Franciosi is an Irish-Italian actress known for her lead role as Clare in The Nightingale (2018), which earned her the AACTA Award for Best Actress. She also played Katie Benedetto in the television series The Fall (2013–2016) and portrayed Lyanna Stark in Game of Thrones (2016–2019).
Franciosi’s career began with her role in The Fall, where she portrayed a teenager involved with a serial killer, a character she played across three seasons. In The Nightingale, she led the cast in a historical thriller set in 19th-century Tasmania, which received critical recognition. She also appeared in Legends (2015), a drama about covert agents, and Black Narcissus (2020), a miniseries based on a psychological novel. In The Unforgivable (2021), Franciosi played a key role in a drama centered on themes of redemption and familial bonds.
