Linda Hamilton's Pets

While Linda Hamilton has appear alongside many pet costars, she has not reported pets of her own.

In The Terminator, Linda Hamilton, playing Sarah Connor, has a German Shepherd named Pugsley Jr. Pugsley Jr. appears at the end of the movie and in the photo of Sarah Connor in a jeep in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Pugsly Jr. is named after Connor’s pet iguana, Pugsly.

In the 1990s, director James Cameron had a German Shepherd named Beowulf (nicknamed “Wulfie.”) Beowulf played John Connor’s dog, Max, in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Beowulf can be seen barking in the backyard of Connor’s stepparents. In that scene, John Connor calls his foster parents and the T-1000 answers in disguise, then Arnold Schwarzenegger as the T-800 copies Connor’s voice to reply to the T-1000. The T-800 asks Connor what his dog’s name is, and Connor replies, “Max.” The T-800 then asks Connor’s foster mom, “What’s wrong with Wulfie?” and she doesn’t correct him. So the T-800 knows that she’s actually the T-1000 and then tells Connor, “Your foster parents are dead.” And if you watch the Director’s Cut, there is a very sad scene where Max is killed by the T-1000…

Playing Sarah Connor, Linda Hamilton has a pet iguana named Puglsey in The Terminator.
