Johnny Depp and his wife Amber Heard pleaded guilty to smuggling their 2 Yorkie’s, Pistol and Boo, into Australia. The court ordered them to apologize on video to avoid criminal charges.
On Monday, April 18, Depp and Heard were filmed in court at Queensland, Australia, to plead guilty for making a false statement on their immigration card. The sentence had a maximum sentence of one year in jail. The magistrate Margaret Callaghan declared the Australian Department of Agriculture “will get more deterrence value from the video than any conviction.” The charges were dropped shortly after.
