Kissy
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have a Jack Russel dog named Kissy. When Kissy’s not living a Manhattan lifestyle, she gets to spend time in the Hamptons, have long walks on the beach, and the chance to enjoy New York the way celebrities do. In September 2024, they celebrated Kissy’s 17th birthday.
Lotus (Shoe)
Sarah Jessica Parker adopted a cat named Lotus in April 2023. Lotus also happened to play the role of “Shoe,” Carrie Bradshaw’s cat, on And Just Like That. You can read the full story on SJP and Lotus here.
Rémy and Smila
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick adopted a pair of rescue cats named Rémy and Smila in May 2022. In the photo here from SJP’s Instagram, you’ll see Remy on the left and Smila on the right. In the middle is their third rescue Lotus.
Sally
Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker used to have a Border Collie named Sallie. She was Broderick’s first dog and was only a puppy when he met SJP.
Matthew Broderick
Matthew Broderick is an American actor best known for his role in the blockbuster Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986). The movie earned Broderick a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy. Broderick has won two Tony Awards, one for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983), and one for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995). On May 19, 1997, he married actress Sarah Jessica Parker best known her for role as Carrie Bradshaw in HBO Comedy, Sex in the City.
