Kat Dennings' Pets

Kat Dennings adopted a Norwegian Forest Cat mix named Millie. In 2013, Dennings was shopping at a health food store and the store owner had three kittens. The owner said she found the kittens in her garage and was looking to get them forever homes. Of the three, two were already spoken for. The last one was a little antisocial ball of fur in the back of the crate, which Dennings felt was a perfect match for her. She was originally going to name the kitten Owl, but her mom thought it looked like a “Millie”, short for Mildred. She’s also called Millicent when she’s naughty, which we bet is a play on Disney’s Maleficent. Millie sadly passed away at the age of 10 in October 2023.

Millie, my baby girl, passed away today. My heart is destroyed. I truly feel like I lost a part of my soul. I will never stop loving her. She saved me in so many ways, every day, with her pure love. Please hold your pets close.

In January 2024, Kat Dennings adopted two kitten sisters named Lentil and Barley.

Kat Dennings’ first childhood pet was a fluffy cat named Daisy.

Kat Dennings adopted a street cat named Pumpkin who passed away in 2005. Kat was so heartbroken from the loss, she didn’t adopt another cat until Millie in 2013.

Despite her name not being Dog Dennings, Kat also loves dogs. Her last dog was a tiny rescued Yorkie named Zoey who passed away in February 2020. Kat adopted Zoey as a senior and estimated she could have been as old as 14 when she crossed the rainbow bridge.

Our sweet Zoey is no longer suffering. She was the best little pup a family ever had, and probably lived enough lives for 10 dogs. We don’t know how old she was, but she could have been as old as 14. I know she would want everyone to consider adopting a senior pet, because they have so much love to give and are mostly over the jumpy jump stage. We love you, little Zoey
