Jimi Hendrix had a Basset Hound named Ethel Floon who had the nickname “Queen of Ears”. Hendrix once told Kathy Etchingham, his wife at the time, how he fondly remembered his childhood dog, Prince. Etchingham then surprised Hendrix with the Basset Hound puppy for his 25th birthday.
