Ivan L. Moody
Ivan L. Moody is an American musician and actor, best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch. Moody has also acted in several movies and television shows. He has won multiple awards for his music, including the Radio Contraband Rock Radio Award for Best Vocalist in 2014 and 2015. Moody has collaborated with several artists, including Rob Zombie, In This Moment, and Papa Roach.
Moody’s career in music began with his band Motograter, but it was his work with Five Finger Death Punch that garnered him widespread recognition. The band’s debut album “The Way of the Fist” reached #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart in 2007, and they have since released several successful albums.
Moody has also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as “Baphomet” and “The Devil’s Carnival: Alleluia!”, as well as television shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “Chicago Fire”. He has also provided voiceover work for video games, including “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4”.
In addition to his successful career in music and acting, Moody has also made a name for himself as a writer. He released his autobiography “Dirty Little Secrets: The Confessions of a Reformed Rock Star” in 2019, which chronicles his struggles with addiction and mental health.
Moody’s collaborations with other artists have included working with Rob Zombie on the song “Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown”, as well as teaming up with In This Moment on their hit single “Blood”. He has also collaborated with fellow rockers Papa Roach on the song “Elevate”. Other notable collaborations for Moody include working with UFC fighter Forrest Griffin on a music video for the band Five Finger Death Punch, as well as teaming up with NFL player Jared Allen for a charity event benefiting veterans.
