Cindy Busby
Cindy Busby is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Ashley Stanton in the television series Heartland (2007–2011). Busby played a main role in Heartland, portraying a wealthy equestrian for four seasons. Following this, she appeared in several Hallmark films, including Unleashing Mr. Darcy (2016) and Marrying Mr. Darcy (2018), where she played the lead character, Elizabeth Scott. She also had a recurring role in The Vampire Diaries (2016) and starred in Royal Hearts (2018) and A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love (2019).
Busby has collaborated with various actors in her career. In Unleashing Mr. Darcy and Marrying Mr. Darcy, she worked with Ryan Paevey. She appeared with James Brolin in Royal Hearts and with Kat Graham in The Vampire Diaries. In A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love, she acted alongside Benjamin Hollingsworth. She also appeared with Andrew W. Walker in My Boyfriend’s Back: Wedding March 5 and collaborated with Sam Page in The Wrong Stepmother (2019). Additionally, she worked with Christopher Russell in Chasing Waterfalls (2021).
