Ashley Purdy is an American musician and songwriter who rose to fame as the bassist and backing vocalist for the popular rock band Black Veil Brides. With his unique style and showmanship, Purdy quickly became a fan favorite and helped propel the band to international success.

Purdy joined Black Veil Brides in 2009, shortly after the band’s formation. With his signature look of black leather, spikes, and heavy eyeliner, Purdy became a visual icon for the band’s theatrical style and message of empowerment. He played an integral role in the creation of their debut album, We Stitch These Wounds, which was released in 2010 and quickly gained a devoted following. The band’s subsequent albums, Set the World on Fire and Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, solidified their status as one of the most successful rock bands of the decade.

Throughout his career with Black Veil Brides, Purdy has collaborated with a number of influential musicians and artists.
